Raġel arrestat wara li twaqqaf mill-pulizija fl-Imrieħel

Police arrested a man in Imrieħel following a vehicle stop that appears to be part of a drug-related operation, according to Newsbook Malta.

Officers stopped the vehicle and the man fled on foot. Police pursued and apprehended him a short distance away. Local sources told Newsbook Malta that the man resisted arrest before officers restrained him on the ground. The Rapid Intervention Unit arrived at the scene to assist.

Police conducted an intensive search of the stopped car. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
