Rare Footage of Saint Padre Pio's Last Mass (He Died a Few Hours Later!)

Rare footage has surfaced showing the final Mass celebrated by Saint Padre Pio before his death in 1968. Although the saint had requested to celebrate a Low Mass due to sudden fatigue on September 21, the large number of pilgrims attending led him to offer a Solemn Mass instead.

Padre Pio died at 2:30 a.m. following his final liturgy. Before passing, he renewed his Franciscan vows, made a confession, and repeated the names of Jesus and Mary. The Father Guardian of the monastery where the saint lived reported that the stigmata on his hands, feet, and side disappeared ten minutes after he died.
