Cardinal Ravasi described Enzo Bianchi, the founder of the Bose Community, as a multifaceted figure who cannot be defined by a single academic or Church category. Ravasi, the emeritus president of the Pontifical Council for Culture, spoke about his friend following Bianchi's death on September 1 after a period of illness.

Ravasi noted that fraternity served as the central theme of Bianchi's life and testimony. He characterized the deceased founder as a witness to brotherhood who remained consistently faithful to the Word of God.
