Pastor Sudrijanta leads 25th anniversary celebration of Stasi Santa Theresia Karadiri II

Pastor Johanes Sudrijanta, SJ, led a Mass on October 1, 2026, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Stasi Santa Theresia Karadiri II community within the St. Joseph Nabire Barat Parish.

The celebration included Pastor P. V. Budi Nahiba, Pr, the parish priest, along with P. Stefanus Yogi, Pr, and P. Hendrikus Hendy, Pr. The event marked the community's growth from a small group into a parish station currently serving approximately 30 families.

During his homily, Pastor Sudrijanta encouraged the faithful to view the anniversary as a time to reflect on their journey and look toward the future with hope. He stated that the Church is measured by nurtured faith and faithful families rather than building size or number of members. He also noted that the community must prepare for the development of Karadiri as it becomes a government center for the Central Papua Province.
