Diocese of Timika staff and employees hold retreat

Staff and employees of the Diocese of Timika held a routine retreat in Kuala Kencana on Friday, October 2, 2026. Bishop Bernardus Bofitwos Baru, OSA, attended the gathering alongside the diocesan office workers.

Sr. Agnita Degei, SRM, led the reflections, using the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model for faith and service. She encouraged participants to emulate Mary's simplicity and her openness to God's will in their daily work and family lives. The session also focused on the perseverance shown by Mary and Joseph during difficult circumstances to help staff strengthen their commitment to their duties.
