Rekolekcje dla rodziców kapłanów i osób konsekrowanych

The Archdiocese of Gniezno held its first retreat for parents of priests and consecrated persons from September 18 to 20 at the Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne in Gniezno. Organizers designed the weekend to provide a space for parents to meet, pray for their sons and daughters, and ask for new vocations to divine service.

Participants met with Archbishop Wojciech Polak and Bishop Radosław Orchowicz. During the opening Mass, Archbishop Polak spoke about the obedience of Jesus to Mary and Joseph as a parental example that shaped his understanding of God. On the second day, Bishop Orchowicz addressed the participants using the parable of the sower to discuss maintaining perseverance through daily difficulties.

Father Andrzej Nowicki, a seminary spiritual director, delivered conferences titled "Od stołu rodzinnego do stołu Pańskiego." The retreat also allowed parents to share how they experience the daily ministry of their children in a small group setting.
