Religiosas cuidan la salud de la gente de la Sierra Tarahumara

Religious sisters are managing hospitals and clinics to provide healthcare for people in the Sierra Tarahumara region of Mexico. These facilities address illnesses made worse by poverty, long distances, and a lack of basic services.

In the towns of Sisoguichi, Norogachi, and Creel, the sisters provide medical consultations, patient transfers, medications, and preventative care. Other sisters work with Rarámuri communities through workshops on traditional medicine.
