Renovabis kongress: polarizācijas pārvarēšana un centieni pēc miera

The 30th International Renovabis Congress took place from September 16 to 18 in Freising, Germany, to discuss overcoming polarization and fostering social cohesion between Eastern and Western Europe. Organized by the Catholic aid organization Renovabis on behalf of the German Bishops' Conference, the event brought together representatives from various European countries to address challenges such as declining trust in institutions and the impact of the war in Ukraine.

Bishop Volodymyr, an auxiliary bishop of the Lviv Archeparchy, attended the congress alongside Father Thomas Schwartz, the executive director of Renovabis, and Toms Rostoks from Latvia. Participants discussed the consequences of war on society and explored ways to strengthen solidarity and Church synodality. Bishop Volodymyr noted that the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and seek answers to current challenges facing both the Church and society.
