Rentrée pastorale : faire corps ensemble dans la diversité

The Notre-Dame du Ventoux sector in the Archdiocese of Avignon officially launched its pastoral year with an outdoor Mass at the Grandes Fontaines in Bédoin on Sunday.

Daniele Tedesco of the Archdiocese of Avignon stated that the Mass serves to gather the parish community and emphasize that the parish functions as a family where individual differences contribute to the unity of the Church. The community relies on various volunteers to maintain its activities, including sacristans, liturgical animators, flower coordinators, training teams, evangelization groups, and those who manage church openings or adoration.

The parish seeks to involve people in many different roles, such as welcoming visitors, preparing readings, visiting the sick, and working with children and youth. Tedesco noted that these diverse contributions allow the community to function as a shared adventure rather than a task for specialists.
