Oblates establish retirement homes

Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate provinces and delegations are establishing retirement homes for their members. While some units have already opened these facilities, others are currently planning to build them.

The Missionari Oblati di Maria Immacolata noted that these homes serve veteran and ailing Oblates who can no longer participate in active ministry. The organization is examining the purpose of these residences to ensure they serve as places of mission and hope rather than merely housing members who are no longer active in their work.
