Archdiocese of Rabat marks Transitus of Saint Francis

The Saint Francis Church community in Rabat held a celebration on Saturday, October 3, to commemorate the Transitus of Saint Francis and mark the solemn conclusion of the Franciscan jubilee year. The jubilee honored the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.

During the liturgy, the congregation participated in a reflection on the mystery of the Transitus, which refers to the saint's passage into eternity. The event took place the day before the universal Church feast of Saint Francis on October 4.
