Archdiocese of Cincinnati priest Reverend Oscar H. Seger dies

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati announced that Reverend Oscar H. Seger died on August 31, 2026, in New Bremen, Ohio.

Born in Fort Loramie, Ohio, on January 18, 1944, Seger was baptized at St. Michael Church. He studied at St. Gregory Seminary and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West, and earned a M.Ed. in Math from Xavier University. He was ordained on May 23, 1970, at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.
