Riccardo Rossi ricorda Fratel Biagio Conte

Riccardo Rossi shared memories of Biagio Conte, a missionary born on September 16, 1963, on the anniversary of his birth. Conte founded a community in Palermo that hosted approximately 1000 people in need for free.

Rossi, a former spokesperson for the missionary, recalled an event in 2019 when Conte fell ill while playing drums in a choir during a Mass at the Casa di Preghiera per tutti i Popoli. After appearing pale and suffering what was believed to be a heart attack, Conte's vital signs stabilized, and he expressed an intention not to be hospitalized. When medical workers returned to the church minutes later, they found Conte playing the drums as if nothing had happened.
