Rm. Yudel Neno reflects on Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni

Father Yudel Neno, Pr, described the Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni in Medan as a visual representation of the human longing for God. In a reflection published by the Diocese of Atambua, he noted that the building's tiered structure and colorful design serve as a physical expression of prayer.

He visited the site on September 19, 2026, following the XV National Meeting of the Unio Indonesia. That meeting took place from September 14 to 18 at the Catholic Center in Pematangsiantar, within the Archdiocese of Medan, and brought together 107 diocesan priests from 38 different dioceses across Indonesia.
