Roma: Papa preside a assembleia diocesana na Basílica de São João de Latrão

Pope Francis will preside over a diocesan assembly at St. John Lateran Basilica on Friday, September 18, 2026, according to an announcement from the Vicariate of Rome.

Cardinal Baldo Reina, the vicar for the Diocese of Rome, stated in an invitation letter that this meeting will officially open the new pastoral year. Each parish community is invited to send representatives so the assembly can reflect the entire diocesan family. Delegates from various participatory organizations will also attend the meeting.
