Rome conference unites doctrine and devotion on Mary

A conference in Rome titled De Maria nunquam satis will take place on October 7 and 8 to connect Catholic doctrine with devotional life. Organizer Virginia Coda Nunziante stated the event aims to clarify the theological role of the Virgin Mary and help the faithful improve their devotion to the Mother of God.

The gathering will examine the mystery of Mary through the lenses of doctrine, history, and worship. Speakers include Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, German mariologist Manfred Hauke, and Dominican theologian Wojciech Giertych.

According to Nunziante, the meeting intends to reaffirm Mary's unique cooperation in salvation and her permanent place in Catholic life. She noted that the goal is to provide clarity rather than to spark controversy.
