Rozpoczęcie roku propedeutycznego w Ełckim Seminarium Duchownym

Bishop Jerzy Mazur, SVD, celebrated Mass at the Ełk Seminary on Monday, September 21, to mark the start of the propaedeutic year for Norbert Aleksander Majewski. Majewski, who comes from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Suwałki, will begin his year of formation in Klebarkach Wielkie.

During the homily, Bishop Mazur said the world needs priests because it needs Christ, the Gospel, love, and mercy. He referenced Saint Paul to note that everyone should act in a way worthy of their calling, including priesthood, religious life, or marriage.

The bishop gave Majewski an image of Jesus to help him learn how to share mercy with others. Father Dariusz Konopko, the rector of the Ełk Seminary, welcomed those gathered at the service.
