Rwanda, Kigali: The first edition of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, GATIGISIMU YA KILIZIYA GATOLIKA, was published in Kinyarwanda thanks to the efforts of the Marian Fathers

The Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary have released the first Kinyarwanda translation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, titled Gatigisimu ya Kiliziya Gatolika.

Father Leszek Czeluśniak, MIC, worked on the translation alongside several Rwandan theologians. The first edition includes 20,000 printed copies.
