Diocese of Raleigh hosts Safe Environment Training

Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Washington will host safe environment training on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The Diocese of Raleigh requires this training for all clergy, employees, and leaders who work with children and youth.

The session teaches participants how to recognize and report child abuse and neglect. It serves both those needing initial training and those seeking renewal through a live session. Two classes will run simultaneously, with one conducted in English and the other in Spanish.
