San Matteo 2026 | Messa degli Sportivi

The Diocese of Salerno–Campagna–Acerno will hold a Mass for athletes on Friday, September 18, at 19:00 at the Salerno Cathedral. Organized by the Ufficio Sport e Tempo Libero, the event is part of the celebrations for the patron saint, St. Matthew.

Archbishop Michele Autuoro of Benevento will preside over the liturgy. As is tradition, the Mass will include representatives from the sporting world, including athletes, technicians, referees, and officials.
