Santa misa en honor a la Virgen de Sillota

Bishop César Huerta Ramírez of the Diocese of Sicuani celebrated a Mass in honor of the Virgin of Sillota at the sanctuary esplanade. The celebration included the baptism of several children and youths.

During his homily, Bishop Huerta Ramírez encouraged mothers to lead their families in prayer and to strengthen family unity through their faith. After the Mass, Father Simón, the parish priest of Santa Ana de Yauri, carried the image of the Virgin of Sillota during a procession. Other visiting delegations carried Marian images.

The event drew parishioners from Pichigua, Yauri, and Coporaque. Local folklore groups concluded the tribute with regional dances.
