Santiago Roncagliolo y el dilema de creer

Peruvian writer Santiago Roncagliolo has released a new book titled El pastor y los lobos. According to Guillermo Juan Morado of InfoCatólica, the work weaves together several narrative threads, including the management of abuse cases within Catholic environments in Peru and the rise of Robert Francis Prevost to the papacy as Leo XIV.

The book follows Prevost, a missionary in Peru and former bishop of Chiclayo. Roncagliolo also uses the story to reconstruct his own biography, exploring his personal struggle with faith and the tension between earthly and heavenly existence. The author dedicated the book to his mother, who taught him both prayer and revolutionary songs.
