São Francisco entre a memória e o futuro: as celebrações pelos 800 anos de sua morte

Vatican officials and religious leaders presented a schedule of events to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi. During a presentation at the Sala Marconi of the Palácio Pio, Cardinal Zuppi joined Archbishop Accrocca to outline the upcoming celebrations.

The program includes a visit by Italian President Mattarella to Assisi on October 4. Archbishop Accrocca stated that the teachings of Francis remain relevant because they offer a radical interpretation of the Gospel.
