Sarajevo, trent’anni dopo: impressioni di viaggio

Marco Bernardoni traveled to Sarajevo this summer to study the events that affected the city and Bosnia between 1992 and 1995. Writing for SettimanaNews, Bernardoni noted that these historical events are often omitted from school curricula.

The trip followed preparation meetings coordinated by Father Giovanni Salatino and Caritas Ambrosiana. While these meetings provided a sociopolitical overview of the conflict, Bernardoni stated that visiting the location was necessary to understand the full complexity of the situation.
