Sărbătoarea familiei în Parohia Sfântul Anton de Padova (Colentina)

The Saint Anthony of Padua Parish in Colentina held a day dedicated to families on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Organized by several families under the guidance of parish priest Petru Cojocaru, the event included activities for different age groups and concluded with the Holy Liturgy.

The program began with dancing led by parish youth. Children participated in games and watched a short film with Evelina, Rodica, and Valerica. Adolescents worked on self-control and self-esteem through various life scenarios led by Găbița. Adults attended a meditation led by Father Marius regarding the role of the family in the modern world, which included personal reflection questions about family time and parenting.

Following a community lunch organized by Mișu, the afternoon featured games for all ages and a dramatic reenactment of a biblical story. The community ended the day by celebrating the Holy Liturgy to give thanks for their life together as a parish.
