Saturday, October 3rd: Thank you, Father!

The Diocese of Port of Spain published a reflection on October 3, 2026, encouraging people to thank God for the ability to serve others.

The reflection uses the Gospel of Luke to suggest that while people may feel pride in their accomplishments, they should instead recognize God for choosing ordinary individuals to reveal His will. It notes that service does not always require overcoming great spiritual enemies, but often involves being a light in darkness, helping neighbors, and reflecting God's love through kindness.
