Savona, anche il Complesso della Cattedrale all'”Edu Open Day”

The Cathedral Complex and Sistine Chapel in Savona will host the second Edu Open Day on Wednesday, September 23. The event brings together the Savona provincial museum network and local schools to encourage collaboration between museums and educational institutions.

From 14:30 to 16:30, the program includes the Incontra il museo initiative at the Chiostro Francescano. Museum representatives will present their services to teachers and educators, who can discuss specific proposals and tailored solutions for their schools without an appointment.

The event concludes at 16:30 with a talk titled Imparare dai luoghi – Scuola, musei e territorio in dialogo. The session features institutional greetings from Luciano Pasquale, president of the Fondazione Agostino De Mari, and Danilo Bruno, a member of the ICOM Liguria Council. Virginia Galli, a member of the AIEM Associazione Italiana Educatori Museali board, will participate in a discussion with Alessio Cotena, the head of educational services for the Fondazione Museo della Ceramica.
