Schwester Maria Dolores Bilo ✝

The Sisters of St. Maria Maddalena Postel announced the death of Sister Maria Dolores Bilo.

Sister Maria Dolores served the religious community in administration and management. After her novitiate, she worked in Nordkirchen for 17 years and later served in Ahaus from 1982 to 1988. Between 1988 and 2015, she managed the finances of the community as general economist and held responsibility as a general council sister. She also served as the manager of the school sector until 2007.

In 2003, she moved to Heiligenstadt with the general administration. She returned to the Bestwig monastery in 2015, where she worked with volunteers until health issues limited her mobility and eventually required full-time care. Sister Maria Dolores had lived with physical limitations since the age of 4.
