SCNA Weekend Sees Strong Participation as Relationship Grows

Eighteen people made their first commitments as Associates of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth during a ceremony at St. Vincent Church on Sept. 27. Two people renewed three-year commitments, and four others made lifetime renewals.

The ceremony concluded a fall gathering held from Sept. 25 to 27 titled "Discernment & Commitment: A Life of Love & Service." Participants attended retreat sessions, shared meals, and listened to personal commitment statements. Sister Barbara Flores, Provincial of the Western Province, told the new Associates that their commitment enriches the SCN community and encourages others to deepen their own witness of service.
