Seguimos trabajando para la implementación del Sínodo en la Diócesis

The Diocese of Vitoria will hold a diocesan assembly in May 2027 to evaluate how the Synod is being implemented within the local Church. Vicar General Carlos García Llata announced the upcoming assembly and new working documents in a letter to the faithful to outline the pastoral year.

The assembly aims to identify the specific characteristics of a missionary synodal Church and the new paths for synodality emerging in the community. Participants will review the progress made since the conclusion of the 2021–2024 Synod to determine how these developments can serve the Holy Father and other churches.

Following the assembly, the diocese will draft a letter to other churches to share what has been learned and the steps taken during this process.
