Semana de la Palabra: leer la Biblia en alto «para escuchar la voz de Dios»

Television producer and screenwriter Oriol Jara suggests reading the Bible aloud to hear the voice of God during the Week of the Word. In an interview shared by Alfa y Omega, Jara explained that reading the Bible out loud is his personal method for connecting with God. He follows an annual reading plan to maintain this practice.

Jara, who wrote about his search for meaning in Diez razones para creer en Dios, stated that the Bible reminds people to love and care for others. He noted that the text warns against worshipping temporary things like money, fame, or harmful relationships, which he described as false gods.

The Catalan screenwriter said his interest in faith began in high school as he sought a logical and reasoned understanding of whether God exists and has revealed himself. After studying the historical-critical method, Jara concluded that the New Testament is truthful and that Jesus is God.
