“Servir, dialogar y trabajar por un Chile más justo” fue el llamado del obispo Tomás Carrasco en el Te Deum de Fiestas Patrias

Bishop Tomás Carrasco called on public officials and citizens to prioritize justice, mercy, service, and the common good during the Te Deum at the San Juan Bautista Cathedral in Calama on September 17.

Presiding over the service alongside diocesan priests, Bishop Carrasco stated that building the country is a collective task. He told those in public or religious roles that their mission extends beyond administrative duties and must be linked to serving the community. The bishop noted that every person has a specific responsibility within society.

The event included regional, provincial, and communal civil authorities, representatives from the armed forces and police, special guests, and the faithful. The service served as a time of prayer and thanksgiving for the history and people of Chile.
