The video, which has gained millions of views, became popular due to the joyful and authentic performance of the family members. One of the siblings, Javi, previously appeared in the music video for the Pope's hymn "Alza la mirada" during a visit to Spain.

The family's history includes Cristina's sudden diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Despite the rapid progression of the disease, she married Sese and they had four children. The couple met in a neighborhood library during the 2001-2002 school year while Sese was studying in Villanueva and Cristina was finishing high school.
