McDonald’s donates 40 meals a week to Parrocchia dell’Alberino

McDonald’s on Via Toselli in Siena is donating 40 hot meals every Wednesday to the San Francesco all’Alberino parish. The distribution began on September 23, 2026, and is scheduled to continue until November 29, 2026.

Each weekly delivery includes a filled sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a dessert. The restaurant staff prepares the meals, which are then collected and distributed by the parish Caritas to 15 families in need.

Don Massimo Meioli, the parish priest, said the donations serve as a sign of solidarity and help the community remain attentive to those in need during this year dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi. He noted that the gesture provides hope to people facing difficulties.
