Sisters of The Work invite to Newman Night Walk

The Sisters of The Work are inviting people to the annual Newman Night Walk from Oxford to Littlemore on Thursday 8 October.

The walk commemorates the arrival of Blessed Dominic Barberi at Littlemore and the reception of St John Henry Newman into the Catholic Church. This tradition has taken place for more than 30 years.

Newman Friends International manages The College, where Newman lived from 1842 to 1846. The site is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday from 2pm to 5pm, or by appointment at other times. Visitors can access Newman’s room, his oratory, and a museum and library for Newman studies and research.
