Six Latin American Church networks publish document on mining extraction

Six Latin American Church networks published a document regarding mining extraction to address the need for dialogue within affected communities and to ensure victims have a voice.

Monsignor Vicente De Paula Ferreira, president of the Episcopal Commission for Integral Ecology of the Conference of Bishops of Brazil, said that dialogue requires walking among the population, which is often ignored and not heard.
