Škof Kozinc v Stični mladih: Bog nas ljubi tudi takrat, ko sami sebe težko sprejemamo

Bishop Janez Kozinc spoke to young people during a Mass at the 45th Stična Youth event on September 19, 2026. He told the attendees that God loves people even when they struggle to accept themselves.

Kozinc encouraged the youth to allow themselves to be loved and accepted as they are, without using masks or pretending to be someone else. He described the sacrament of reconciliation as a place for a personal encounter with God's mercy and love. He noted that people should approach confession with trust in being loved rather than based on their own merits, especially when they fail or find self-acceptance difficult.

The bishop also invited the young people to recognize God's love through science, art, creation, relationships, and life's trials.
