Sotto il manto della Vergine: la comunità di San Miniato Basso si ritrova insieme

The San Miniato Basso parish community held its annual festival honoring Mary from September 3 to 6. The event included a three day preparation period on September 3 and 4, where local priests led services on the church courtyard following communal Rosary prayers.

Father Marco Casalini, the priest of Marcignana, celebrated Mass on Thursday, while Father Francesco Zucchelli, the priest of San Miniato and La Scala, led the Friday service. On Saturday afternoon, the community opened an exhibition featuring images of Marian shrines and crosses from the local parish and the surrounding municipality. This exhibition was organized by the parish priest and created by Aurelio Cupelli and Francesco Fiumalbi. The celebrations concluded on the evening of September 5 with Eucharistic adoration led by the parish priest, Father Fabrizio.
