Diocese of Catanzaro–Squillace presents new project

The Diocese of Catanzaro–Squillace has introduced a new project titled “Dalla tradizione greca alla rinascita latina. Documenti e controversie territoriali (XI-XIX sec.)”. Presented in Squillace, the project integrates the MAB – Museo, Archivio e Biblioteca.

Father Maurizio Franconiere, director of the Museo Diocesano d’Arte Sacra and head of the Ufficio Diocesano per i Beni Culturali Ecclesiastici, moderated the meeting. The project uses ancient maps and parchments to examine historical boundaries and events from the 11th to the 19th centuries.
