St. Francis Loved to Sing

St. Francis of Assisi recited Psalm 141 as his final words before dying on the evening of October 3, 1226, according to a report by Massimo Scapin.

St. Bonaventure, who died in 1274, recorded that the saint maintained his devotion to the psalm during his final moments. Scapin notes that while Francis is widely known for his radical commitment to the Gospel, his love for singing represents another significant dimension of his life.
