St. Lawrence to Mark Jubilee of St. Francis

St. Lawrence Seminary High School in Mount Calvary will host six evenings of prayer, reflection, and confession from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 to mark the 800th Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi. The seminary is serving as a pilgrimage site in partnership with Our Lady of the Holyland Parish.

Daily confessions will take place in the seminary chapel from 7 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a novena to St. Francis and a brief reflection on his life. Each evening focuses on a specific theme of Franciscan spirituality, such as service, prayer, the Eucharist, fraternity, Scripture, or conversion.

Special scheduled events include Eucharistic Adoration following the Sept. 27 gathering until 8 p.m. and a Mass on Sept. 30. For more information, people can contact campus minister Fr. Baudry.
