St. Michael Parish celebrates faith, gratitude and vision for the future

St. Michael Parish in Leduc celebrated the Feast of St. Michael on October 17 with a Mass and a banquet at Christ The King School. The event brought together parishioners, clergy, seminarians, and community partners to honor the parish patron saint and recognize volunteers who support parish ministries.

Archbishop Stephen Hero attended the celebration, marking a return to the parish where he served as a seminarian in 1997 alongside Father John Hesse. During the program, the Archbishop reflected on the history of the parish and the people who have shaped its community.

The celebration included music led by music ministry coordinator Clare Ganton and her niece Paige. Pastor Father Mathew Kunnel CMI also participated in the event, which focused on expressing gratitude to those who have supported the parish across generations.
