Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner meet with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky

US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv following more than 3 hours of talks with Vladimir Putin. The diplomats traveled to the Ukrainian capital to continue a new American diplomatic effort, though no breakthrough was announced after the meeting in Moscow.

Giulia Cerqueti of Famiglia Cristiana reported that the meetings with Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky did not produce concrete progress. The fundamental issues, specifically regarding territorial disputes, remain unresolved. While the envoys continue their mission, Kyiv is preparing for a potential escalation of Russian offensives during the upcoming winter.
