Sudbury with Hadleigh Catholic Parish holds Late Summer Fayre

Sudbury with Hadleigh Catholic Parish held its annual Late Summer Fayre on Saturday, September 12, at Our Lady and St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Sudbury. The event, organized by the Parish Pastoral Council and Fr Antony, the priest-in-charge, began with a Mass at 4:30 p.m. to bring parishioners from both Sudbury and Hadleigh together.

Activities in the church garden included a raffle, a tombola, a bottle stall, and various prizes. Visitors could browse a book stall and a stall selling used items. Food and drink options included a barbecue, home-baked cakes, a strawberry and prosecco bar, and a liqueur bar, all provided on a donation basis.

Children played traditional games while a harp and cello duo performed. Fr Antony thanked the Parish Pastoral Council, volunteers, and the community for their work in preparing the event.
