Svatý Petr Klaver – celý život zasvětil službě otrokům

The Church commemorates Saint Peter Claver on September 9, honoring the priest and missionary who served enslaved Africans brought to Cartagena.

Claver worked in the holds of slave ships to care for those arriving. He provided food, treated the sick, and worked to defend the dignity of people whom society treated as property.
