Tarnowiec: Ponad 1000 osób na pielgrzymce Róż Żywego Różańca

More than 1,000 members of the Living Rosary Circles from the Diocese of Rzeszów gathered at the Sanctuary of Matki Bożej Zawierzenia in Tarnowiec on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The pilgrimage included communal prayer, formation sessions, and Mass led by Bishop Krzysztof Chudzio.

Father Paweł Knurek, the parish priest and sanctuary custodian, welcomed the pilgrims and shared information regarding the history and spiritual significance of the sanctuary and the figure of Matki Bożej Zawierzenia. Father Czesław Goraj, the diocesan moderator for the Living Rosary Circles, delivered a catechesis. He noted that the 200th anniversary of the Living Rosary is an opportunity to rediscover the value of this prayer and the role of rosary communities in the Church.

Participants also engaged in rosary prayer along the sanctuary paths. Father Goraj described the rosary as a biblical prayer that should lead to a transformation of life through meditation.
