Secundino Correia, the RCC coordinator for the Santo António dos Olivais parish, urged participants to prioritize the concept of sufficiency over efficiency. He suggested that Christians should embrace simplicity and sobriety, noting that people often consume more than necessary due to advertising.

Correia also encouraged participants to consider the ethics of their daily consumption. He advised reflecting on production processes, labor conditions, and whether products are sustainable or locally sourced, even if they cost more than cheaper alternatives.
