«Tempo del Creato», sabato 26 settembre un incontro ecumenico a Lavinio

The Diocese of Albano will host an ecumenical meeting for the Tempo del Creato on Saturday, September 26, at the parish of Santi Anna e Gioacchino in Lavinio. Organized by the diocesan office for ecumenism and interreligious dialogue, the event begins at 16:30 and includes a concert by the coro Lavinia Litora and a theatrical performance by the cultural association Dietro la maschera.

The gathering brings together representatives from the Chiesa di Albano, the Patriarcato ecumenico di Costantinopoli, the Diocesi ortodossa Romena d’Italia, the Comunità evangelica ecumenica di Albano, and the Chiesa evangelica battista di Ariccia. Massimo De Magistris, director of the diocesan office, stated that the event helps churches act on issues central to their faith and provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with different religious communities.

The meeting aims to foster prayer and fraternity among the local parish and various Christian denominations. De Magistris noted that frequent meetings between religions have become established in the region, helping to make dialogue a way of life within a culturally and religiously diverse diocese.
