Temps de prière pour la fermeture du reliquaire de saint Brieuc

Diocese of Saint-Brieuc officials gathered at the Saint-Yves diocesan house on September 17, 2026, to close a relic of Saint Brieuc inside a reliquary. Deacon Hervé Guévellou led the prayer service to prepare the relic for a visit to the Stade de France.

The relic will be displayed before Pope Leo XIV during a vigil on September 25, 2026. Bishop Étienne Guillet of Saint-Denis noted that the presence of various saintly relics is intended to serve as an example for the young people in attendance.

After the gathering at the Stade de France, the reliquary will return to the Diocese of Saint-Brieuc. It will be placed in the Notre-Dame de la Fontaine chapel located between Rue Ruffelet and Rue de la Fontaine.
