In her article, Allen explains that God infused this instinct into humanity to ensure people would seek Him after the fall of man. She notes that while the first humans left Eden following their fall, God prepared for the redemption of the world by giving mankind the capacity to call for help. Allen describes this internal drive as an instinct that leads people to actively look for the Creator.
